New Inverclyde website launched
This week saw the launch of CIVIC's latest project, a standalone website for Scotland's national residential sports centre, Inverclyde.
Inverclyde is primarily a training retreat for governing bodies of sport in Scotland. Located near Largs in Ayrshire, Inverclyde offers a variety of indoor and outdoor facilities as well as residential accommodation.
Previously part of the main sportscotland corporate website, Inverclyde required a separate online presence to showcase their facilities and work. We began by scoping out their requirements and target audience allowing us to develop a new structure and wireframes for the site.
We worked closely to the brand guidelines supplied by Redpath to develop a fresh look for the site and commissioned an illustration from local illustrator, Kate McLelland, which formed the basis of an interactive map allowing site users to browse and gain an overview of Inverclyde sports facilities.
